- The Chief Executive Officer of the state affiliate of the American Psychological Association, which provides quality professional education, protects, promotes and advances the science and practice of psychology in the educational, legislative, legal and regulatory domains in the community and within the profession.
- Responsible for governance coordination; quarterly executive board meeting processes; coordination of continuing education events and development; convention planning; web development of association web site; exhibit planning; computerized and maintains all financial and bookkeeping duties; marketing and promotional material developer; professional relations and public relations; developed and maintains association data bases; develops grants; publishes association quarterly newsletter; statewide dissemination of press releases; dissemination of statewide Disaster Response unit alerts for DHHR; maintains association listserv to aid in communication; hires and supervises additional staff as needed; serves as a member of the executive committee of the association and a member of the finance committee of the association; represents WVPA at the American Psychological Association’s meetings.
