Nominations are currently being solicited for five positions on WVPA’s Board of Directors. Volunteer yourself or nominate a colleague to serve as a member of the Board of Directors. Nominations must be submitted by June 30th, 2021. The term of these positions will begin January 1, 2022. Members and Fellows are able to nominate/endorse for the President Elect, Secretary, Diversity Representative-at-Large, and Representative-at-Large positions. Student members are able to nominate/endorse for the Student Representative.
Members of the WVPA Board of Directors have the responsibility to govern the association and set policy. In addition to that major role, each board member has specific responsibilities. The Board of Directors roles that are open currently are listed below.
Please enter the name of the person you are nominating on the appropriate form below and enter your name in the nominated by box. Check the box if you have confirmed that the member is willing to serve if elected. Please provide the names of three (3) members in good standing (including yourself) who are willing to endorse the nominee. The Nominations Committee will establish the slate of candidates, but any member who is nominated and endorsed by at least 3% of the membership will appear on the ballot, providing that person meets the requirements of office and is willing to serve.
